MorseCoder (morsecoder.us) is an educational Morse code translator and learning site. This policy explains what we do — and do not — collect.

• Your translations run entirely in your browser.
• We do not require accounts or logins.
• We do not sell personal data.
• We do not store the text or Morse you type on our servers.

Information we do not collect

Message content entered into the translator, trainer, quiz, or keyboard tools is processed locally with JavaScript. It is not uploaded to MorseCoder servers for storage, analysis, or advertising.

Local browser storage

Some features may save preferences in your browser (for example theme preference via localStorage, or trainer scores). That data stays on your device and can be cleared by clearing site data in your browser settings.

Hosting and logs

Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically log standard technical data such as IP address, user agent, referring URL, and timestamps for security and reliability. We do not use these logs to build marketing profiles of individuals.

Analytics and cookies

If analytics or similar tools are enabled in the future, they will be disclosed here. We aim to keep the site free of advertising trackers. Essential cookies or local storage may be used only for functionality such as dark mode.

Third-party links

Articles may link to external resources (for example ARRL, CW Academy, or Wikipedia). Their privacy practices are their own; we are not responsible for third-party sites.

Children

The site is suitable for educational use by all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
